WHAT IS WHITECOAT?

WhiteCoat is a little more complex than the other programs. While the others are mostly for healthy people who have a cold and need a day off from work, WhiteCoat provides a little more.

More sophisticated requirements, such as sexual health guidance, test results review, and travel medicine advice, can be addressed.

The most intriguing function, though, is chronic illness management: WhiteCoat physicians may give medicine for diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol, presumably only if you are already sick.

Because the consultation charge is affordable at $25, it’s a good choice for folks who have these prevalent ailments but aren’t very mobile.

If you acquire a prescription, you may buy the drug straight from WhiteCoat and have it delivered for a charge.

Please keep in mind that the $25 consultation charge applies only during their office hours ( Mon to Sat, 8am to 7.59pm). After-hours consultations (8pm to midnight, Monday through Saturday; 8am to midnight, Sunday and PH) are $50.

HOW DOES WHITECOAT WORK?

WhiteCoat’s primary focus is telemedicine, which allows patients to consult with doctors from the comfort of their own homes via real-time video conferencing. This involves everything from diagnosis through treatment and management of current problems.

Today, the business offered a brief demonstration of their software, demonstrating an easy-to-use interface that allows users to select from a list of symptoms. Patients will also be able to photograph apparent signs, such as a rash, and submit them to their doctor. There will also be spaces for patients to declare any allergies they have, which will aid with medicine prescriptions later on.

When you finish the consultation, the medications can be delivered to you the same day during your preferred time period.

WhiteCoat is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Sunday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Consultations will cost S$25 within this time period, and S$50 outside of this timeframe.

In addition, WhiteCoat claims that it can aid in the treatment of chronic illnesses. Its in-house dispensary is said to offer a greater selection of medications than most pharmacies, allowing it to treat a variety of illnesses.

However, another feature that makes the organization stand out is that it has its own team of six doctors. They all work out of WhiteCoat’s office, and the firm does not use doctors from other clinics.

Of course, video consultations may not cover everything, and WhiteCoat’s experts may advise you to come in for a physical appointment. Separately, they might recommend you to a clinic or a specialist of your choosing.
