User reviews:

I love having access to so many nostalgic Disney movies (including Disney channel original movies!). I’ve been reading a lot of reviews saying that the app doesn’t open it that they are seeing a black screen. Well, the app works great on my smart tv and my iPad, but my Android phone has never successfully opened the app. I don’t know if it’s an issue with Samsung or not. I guess try your luck and find out. I have a Roku tv and it works just fine on there.

Great app. However, Disney, you need to create a screen between your home screen and playing a movie. Like a title screen asking if you want to resume the movie or restart from the beginning. It becomes incredibly frustrating rewinding a movie, especially on the TV. Every other streaming service has the title screen I’m talking about. In case you need examples 🙄

It’s Disney. The core library is great, even if you have lesser additions as well (such as the Direct To Video library). The UI ia fine, but could use some quality of life updates. I’d love to edit the Continue watching and organize the My List into folders. At the very least we should get more than 100 visible My List items at once.

The streaming service is fantastic, but the app in its current state is not. If a season in a show has more than 30 episodes, the app for some reason only displsys the first 30 episodes of that season, making all episodes past the 30th episode inaccessible. And no, this doesn’t happen on the website, only on the app. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Great app and love all the movies and series. The only problem I have is that even when you turn on the subtitles they don’t translate what is being said if it’s in another language, for example: Daredevil, in this show there is a lot of people speaking in several different languages but the subtitles don’t say what they are saying so I don’t always get the context of what is happening. I hope you guys understand my issue but otherwise it is a great app.
