There’s a few people including myself that really don’t like this new update for certain reasons, it even has 2 of my friends wanting to quit discord now because of how small it is and how things are cut out. It’s an amazing app but this new update just really isn’t it. It’s annoying and hard to use, the smaller channels and categories, the drive for photos, the texting is even a little weird. but aside this it’s still good, but please fix it? I don’t wanna lose my friends over an update.

So, for context, due to accessibility, I have my display size set to large and my text size to largest on my phone. Before, Discord would display the proper size, with the settings option to adjust text size having a system default option. This morning, when I checked discord, that had completely changed. The function to adjust text size was gone and discord was not set to the system display size of my phone. The “zoom” setting, whatever that’s supposed to be, has been a poor replacement.

Discord is a great app, it’s honestly really easy to use and it’s a great way to make new friends. Although you have to be careful on there because of predators ect. But that’s the deal with almost every app in general. Discord is a great app to talk and call with people also to use to stream videos with your friends. I definitely recommend downloading it!

Great performance and quality. App is the single best for any kind of communication and community. Only problem is some settings that are changed (such as the new layout) that I can’t revert. Another issue is that I keep constantly having to update it for the exact same thing (this may be a play store issue). Other than that, there’s very few bugs and everything works smoothly. Edit: Stars are the same, just adding that this app drains battery very quick on data, and also uses a lot of data.

I like it, might take time for some ppl to get used to, but I’ve been on it since January 2019, and I like it. Sure I’ve gone through some bad bc of being on it, but I’ve had fun w it. It’s useful for me. Can text, call and block people, also can make servers (like an organized gc without the limit of 10 ppl) and find communities through servers as well. A good use thing I like is for movie/show nights, with the streaming thing. Overall enjoy it a lot. Just some of the people aren’t very good.
