I love the interactions with people from all walks of life and geographical locations. Also having a chance to connect with well-known creators and personalities is fantastic. My only complaint, from a technical perspective, is the app’s interface. It often brings up comment sections or open other pages when I’m attempting to scroll or like a post. I have adjusted my phone’s settings and this continues to occur. Still, I highly recommend the app

It’s fine, but buttons constantly moving to different places to promote shopping, reels, etc vs posting, and it takes more clicks to do the same things as before. Notifications don’t work until you force quit the app and go back in. Posted photos no longer get saved to your camera roll, then appear suddenly hours later. AND, drafts don’t get saved if you start posts with IG’s own recommend new way. It’s been months now, and not much better, just a constantly rolling series of changes.

Listen, everyone knows insta is fun. Its a good app, but the amount of glitches I’ve experienced are so annoying. I use dark mode and of course sometimes the background goes completely white, but the text is white so the app won’t function. Sometimes my camera glitches when it zoomed on a video and its hard to watch. Sometimes it send a post twice. Etc etc etc. Idk if its only androids but I’ve had this issue with my last two android phones. I hope Androids aren’t getting the but of the stick.

Its actually 1 of 5 stars, It’s not tiktok stop trying to be, Photo engagement is where it is at for me. I honestly don’t care for the videos keep them in the reels line. Plus the options to mute and unmute is now pause or play. I like seeing my friends photos and content! More ads and more video…less photos. Normally 5 stars, not content atm. 1 out of 5.
